Many prints were also made as contact if the negatives were large enough, and that would have made them ideal for "wallet size." To answer your original question though - I doubt that you'd be able to tell anything about the camera or film used unless you found the negatives - and still that would not tell you much about the camera. I don't know about Prints, but Kodakchrome Slides have the Date of Processing on (SEP 91) or something like that All of the prints my parents had in albums from the 60's (and probably earlier, too, but their albums only date to '59 when they were married) look pretty much identical and I know we had more than one camera in the house in the '60s. If I remember correctly, all prints that you'd get back from the drugstore\photo store in the 1960's had a white border with a date stamp like you indicate - it just represented the date that the prints were made. My collection appears to span about 5 years from 1959-1964, but this could only reflect the time my father and grandfather used this particular camera.

Also wondering how long Kodak produced these bordered prints. I was just curious if Kodak was using this date stamped format tied to a specific film format.
